Using buff-smooth clay, Gemma has created this subtle yellow pot inspired by the shape of a tulip. Around 15cm tall, the pot has been scraffitied inside and out in the shape of petals to give a further floral effect to the piece. The main focus of this piece is the detail that has gone into the bell-shaped design of it, in order to gain the desired effect seen below.
