With a 20cm diameter and created using buff-smooth clay, this decorative bowl has been further decorated with a pale blue slip and scraffitied using a sharpened ceramic tool to produce the ongoing petal pattern. The photograph below shows exactly how the bowl can be used simply as a subtle ornamental piece on the corner of a desk, or as a more practical storage item.
